Vancouver Urban Timber needed a brochure website to prominently highlight their high-quality furniture design business and online store integration for selling wood slabs and milled timber.

Discovery & Design
When Van Urban Timber contacted us about designing and creating their website, we knew it would be an exciting project to test our eye for detail.

Design-oriented people like the guys at Van Urban Timber have a close eye for detail and it was important that the impression provided by their website matched the standard of their high-quality products.

A visual experience was critical. Portfolios showing the craftsmanship and detail was one of the most important details.
​
Another component of the site to be considered was the easy navigation. Many clients are contractors on deadlines and limited time to navigate cluttered websites.
Development
The most important aspect to this site was the photography and capturing the size of the products being offered.

Incorporating video elements allowed us to show the work which is involved in the development of the furniture from beginning to end. ​
​
Also developed was an online store feature allowing for clients to purchase raw wood slabs, with filtering options for types of wood and size.

The final product came together very well for Van Urban Timber, if we might say so ourselves.

A lot of this has to do with the fantastic quality of their goods and providing a means to visualize them on a photo-centric website really did wonders.
